Borderlands 6
Miles
Miles was a friend in first grade. His family had rented a house along the northern border where the trains ran by.
For a year, we played in a secluded open space behind the house. An unmarked park that felt like a private extension of their backyard.
Our mothers continued to exchange Christmas cards long after Miles and his family returned to their home in London.
I only remember Miles because of this place and the subtle feeling that we were trespassing.
